"We plan to broadcast more sports this season beside men and women's basketball and Nick's versatility will pay off ."

"I am excited to be here and thrilled over the opportunity. I am anxious to get the season underway, There's nothing quite like D-I athletics. The atmosphere is special. I am enthusiastic about traveling again as well. This should be a great season," said Anastos

Anastos is already at UMES, planning and getting ready for the season. His fi rst broadcast was the Hawk Hysteria event where he broadcasted live, previewing each team. His fi rst game broadcast will be November 7 at 6 p.m. when the Lady Hawks will host Elizabeth City State University in an exhibition contest. That game can be heard exclusively on the internet at www.umeshawks.com thanks to www.AllInBroadcasting.com.

The men's fi rst broadcast will be their opener as they play at Virginia Commonwealth on November 9th. That game will be on the internet and live on WTGM-AM 960 The Team.

"The men should show signifi cant improvement under new head coach Meredith Smith, There are some talented young players on this team who are eager to prove themselves. They should be fun to watch," Anastos said.
